Building your own CV style independent rear end? We now sell individual Independent “IRS” components for those that want to build their own “hybrid” independent rear end using a combination of OEM & Dutchman components. Why not build it as tough as you can using the legendary, durable, and readily available 9 inch Ford third member gear set and Dutchman's 31 or 35 spline custom chromoly 4340 stub axles? Using our new Ford 9 inch independent CV center, you can eliminate your stock center section and build a very trick "Hybrid" rear end. Whether you are building a Hi-Tech Street Rod, muscle car, track car, or off road vehicle, construct your next vehicle's rear end using Dutchman’s custom Independent rear end components.

This listing uses the same housing and stub axles as our non disc brake IRS rear housing, but includes inboard mounted Wilwood 12.19” ventilated rotors and 4 piston Dynalite calipers.

Features:

-We engineered the housing with extra thick cross sections for added strength.
-Without sacrificing strength, the independent housing has a lightweight design (only 20 lbs.).
-Our new, fourth generation castings are poured and heat-treated in the United States, at a foundry that utilizes modern state-of-the-art equipment and “old-school know how”. The combination of engineering and the best production methods available has resulted in one of the strongest aluminum independent housings in the aftermarket automotive industry.
-The stub shafts are designed for the extra heavy duty 934 constant velocity joint and are CNC machined using forged, double heat-treated 4340 chromoly material.
-For added strength and durability, the stub axles are supported using a Timken taper roller bearing (instead of the typical single row ball bearing our competitors use).
-Inner stub flange face to face measures 14 3/4” [15 1/4” with the rotor adaptors in place].

-CNC machined aluminum housing.
-Pr. 31 or 35 spline chromoly 4340 stub axles, bearings, seals, and retainer plates.
-Wilwood 12.19” x .810 wide vented rotors.
-Wilwood 4 piston dynalite calipers.
-ARP Rotor/Hat bolts.
-Custom ARP CV shoulder bolts.

-Black CeraKote finished stubs (superior rust preventative and dirt repellant).
-Polished housing and rotor hats.
-Plain or cross-drilled, slotted, and black E-Coated rotors.
-GT track car slotted & curved vane rotors.
-Black, red, or polished calipers.
-Billet aluminum or steel pinion mounting bracket.
-Billet aluminum or steel top mounting bracket.
-Hybrid CV half shafts to integrate your stock outer CV joint (may require sample parts).
