Axle and Housing Measuring Dog bone, Mopar 9.25
Confused about overall width versus pinion location, what length to order axles, how much to cut off of the housing??? These handy measuring and reference fixtures (Measuring dog bones) save time and money by minimizing guesswork and errors when narrowing a rear or front end and shortening axle shafts. The Dutchman Dog Bone is manufactured from laser cut steel and has a durable powder coat finish.
The DMI measuring tool simply shows two things; The pinion center and the end of splines. It is designed for the use of billet housing ends to eliminate the c-clips & convert the axle to a bolt in press on bearing type.
Included are pictured instructions, tech tips, and an example of the math for figuring various length combinations and pinion locations.
Actual product may appear different than the pics.
